By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this site or place an order.
1. Products & Pricing
We sell whole grains and related products for personal, non-commercial use only.  Resale of our products without written permission is prohibited.
Prices are listed in USD and include applicable taxes where required. Prices are subject to change without notice.
All product descriptions, images, and nutritional information are provided in good faith. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in product descriptions.
2. Orders & Payment
An order is not confirmed until we send an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including orders we suspect are for resale or that exceed reasonable personal-use quantities. 
Payment is due in full at checkout.
We may suspend an account or cancel an order for non-payment, suspected fraud, or violation of these terms.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Our Shipping Policy governs all shipping, delivery, and carrier-related matters. By placing an order, you agree to those terms.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.  We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or events beyond our control.
We ship to the 48 contiguous United States only.

4. Food Safety & Storage Disclaimer
Our products are sold as unprocessed whole grains. It is your responsibility to store them properly (cool, dry, airtight) and to inspect them before use.
We recommend milling and consuming grain within [6 months] of receipt for best quality.
We are not liable for spoilage, off-flavors, or quality degradation resulting from improper storage after delivery.
If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, you are solely responsible for reviewing product ingredients and allergen information before purchase. Our facility may process multiple grain varieties.
5. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of food products, returns are accepted only as described in our Return & Refund Policy.
Opened or partially used grain bags are not eligible for return.
For spoilage or damage claims, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos as described in our claims process.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product photography, and design — is the property of Shade Tree Organic Grains and is protected by US copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission. 
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shade Tree Organic Grains shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products, including but not limited to:
Loss of use, loss of data, or loss of profits
Product quality or taste not meeting your expectations
Improper storage or handling by the customer
Delays in delivery
Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shade Tree Organic Grains from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of our products, violation of these terms, or breach of any applicable law. 
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montour County, Pennsylvania. 
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. 
11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
